A much overdo welcome to 2008!

Why so tardy on the New Year's greetings? My fellow bandmates and myself have been working relentlessly on Wreckcreation's debut album with engineer/producer Rowan Poole of Persephone's Dream. The recording has been going great and we're beginning to round 2nd base so to speak. We'll be moving into the mixing stage soon. We have yet to put a release date on the album for a few reasons:

1. It costs a decent amount of money to create an album. We're a totally independent band and we all work exhausting day jobs and pay regular bills on top of band expenses 100% from our three wallets. And let me tell you, we're far from rich!

2. We don't want to rush the product and jeopardize quality. In an age where music can be easily had for free via torrents and other technology there is one big lesson that musicians and others in the business should be learning: If you care about and respect your fans they will respect you! We believe you deserve better than what a lot of music entertainment has given you the past decade or two. Our intentions with this album (and all subsequent albums) is that you get a great album with top quality songs, production, and artwork. While music piracy will never go away, we feel that for the most part if we show you the respect you deserve you will show us respect by purchasing the albums or songs or whatever. Music is a relationship, lets have a great one!

Look forward to new developments and additions (video, pictures, etc.) to this site and the myspace. Things are about to get wrecked!

Respect,

-Josh-
